Still on the run…
Here are this week’s images, another random batch. The only commentary is found in the captions. Which one(s) do you like and why?
The interesting theme, if there is one, is the limited amount of processing that went into each of these photos. I’m not much of a Photoshop person in terms of manipulating images; most of my processing focuses on the basics (exposure, shadows, contrast, highlights, saturation).
The images here reflect that approach. I hope you enjoy them.
I like them all but the Baltimore cemetery one has a certain poignancy about it that keeps drawing me back to it.
One of my biggest challenges as I became more adept at photoshop was learning restraint, to not overprocess, and instead remember to compose/expose the image correctly in the camera. I limit post-processing to the electronic equivalent of dodging, burning, and cropping...a sort of mixed analog/digital approach.
I love all these images but the Paris shot is fun and unique. You've got a great eye, Glenn!
