Thanks, Kevin. I was driving around an area of rural Virginia that's about 60 miles from where we live. It was one of those rare days when I just get to roam around and look for things that catch my eye. When I saw the tombstones almost buried in the brush, I stopped the car and went over for a look. The last names and dates made it obvious that it was a small family plot that had not been maintained. I tried to look for the best possible angle and finally decided it was across the street from my car where I had seen it in the first place.
Another tough call, but family plot is it for me this week!
Thanks for looking and commenting!
love smooth sailing but all of them are interesting
Thanks for checking them out, Kay!
The essence of impactful and authentic storytelling: focused images that touch the heart and stimulate our thinking. /s/ long time fan 🤩
Thanks Lee!
My fave is the one from Hawaii. I'm a sucker for that sort of 'endless summer' shot.
For the family plot photo, what brought you to that spot?
