My Mom lived her final 20 years on Grandfather Mtn. just outside of Blowing Rock. And a couple members of one of my favorite bands, River Whyless, graduated from ASU. That region holds a special place in my memories. 💚
I went to the Land of Oz as a kid back in the mid '70s. Still have the little book from the adventure. I had no idea it had gone into disrepair over the years. I'm so glad it's still being visited, albeit in a much different way.

Thanks Mark. Now that two of my kids are navigating parenting themselves, I find myself looking back a lot on those days.
That top photo is a gem. I kind of miss the days of sending off the film to be developed and being surprised by what comes back.
