I keep coming back to the photo with the Washington Monument in the background. Interesting as it is the subject of the photo. The solidity of the building structure leads my eyes toward the obelisk. Intriguing photo, subtle … yet not!
Thanks Kevin! House was an odd find. On our trip to Texas, I was showing my son a couple of apartments where I lived in m my mid 20s. We saw this place next door to an eightplex apartment building where i stayed in the late 1980s. Strange place on a dreary overcast day.

Thanks, Jennifer. That was taken during a tour of the Eisenhower Executive Office Building next to the White House.
Interesting! Great perspective!
Love all of the photos but my favorite is the sunset in Virginia. Keep posting!
Thanks Kay! Will do.
Drive through Staunton from one home in Norfolk to our other in Rogersville, TN...need to make it a stop along the way.
Well worth it. Really picturesque downtown with some interesting shops and restaurants.
Love your visual story posts, Glenn. My favorite one here is — probably not surprisingly — the phone booths at the library 🙂
Thanks, Sarah. Not a surprise at all!
Yes please to more of this!
My favorite one here is the one from the train, but I kept looking at the house in Houston too. Something very foreboding(?) about it.
